Low tech & mellow

My computer is not yet fixed, so no quality images today. Instead, I've gone low-tech on you and have loaded some images from my cell phone.

These snapshots aren't so great, but they do offer a different glimpse into Buzz's world than usual because my cell phone's camera can focus on things that are really close to the lens, such as Buzz, resting his head on my chest, watching me watch TV.

Head on my stomach as I continue to watch television:

Hanging his head off of the futon:

Taking a nap...zzzzzzzzzzzz...

And finally, waking up, wiggling about and stretching out!

The Border Collie and the Peruvian: Or, Buzz Plays Favorites

The Peruvian seems to be Buzz’s favorite person in the whole wide world.

Look at that dog! He’s so smitten!

These two are so cute together.

It is a little sickening.

Maybe we should cleanse our blog palette with something less saccharine, like a baby..

Or a lamb…

Oh crap, I give up…

Halloween in Wildwood

Buzz, do you know what Halloween is?

"Is it the reason I'm wearing these horns?"

Yes. Here, have a treat, Mr. Smart-smart!

"Is it the reason you are wearing those horns?"

Yes. And it is the reason for this tail, too.

"I always have a tail."

Yes, Buzz, you do! You are very observant. What else have you noticed lately?
"I have noticed that there are a lot of new decorations in our neighborhood."

"This house has the most decorations! Rats and rats and rats!"

"The house with the Barbie window is updated for Halloween."

"This house has the most political decorations."

"When I first saw this thing, it gave me quite a fright! I boinged straight into the air and then I growled. But after you said 'good zombie' and stroked the zombie's head I figured it was safe."

I promise to always pet the zombies.
"And I promise to always cuddle the food lady!"

Happy Halloween!

Kenneling and snoozing

Buzz was in the kennel for 24 hours while I went to see my cousin in Holland, Michigan. He did great! The kennel worker said he was good the whole time. He wasn't noisy, he ate his meals with glee and walked nicely on the leash for them! He was happy to see me when I picked him up, but not TOO happy (which I took as a good sign, he wasn't deperate to leave!)

On the way home from the kennel we stopped at the park and he played with other dogs for about an hour.

Once we got back to the house he took a HUGE nap and asked for lots of cuddles.
